Questions people ask

Who needs a licence?

Anyone who needs to see the licensed features. A report author with a licence builds the report; a reader without one sees Evaluation Mode. In practice that means one licence per planner or analyst who works with the staffing view, not one per person in the organisation.

What happens when a licence lapses?

The visual drops back to Evaluation Mode. The report keeps working, the first 12 intervals keep calculating, nothing errors. Microsoft's licence service also carries a grace period for payment problems, and the visual honours it — a card expiring does not take a staffing plan down mid-shift.

Can I try it before buying?

That is what Evaluation Mode is for. Install from AppSource, map your own data, and compare the tooltips to your spreadsheet. If the numbers don't reconcile, don't buy it — and tell us, because that would be a bug.

Is there a volume or enterprise price?

Not yet. If you are licensing more than twenty seats, get in touch.

Does my data go anywhere?

No. The visual makes no network requests and declares no web-access permissions. Licence checks go through Power BI's own licence API, which tells the visual whether the current user holds a plan and nothing else. Contact volumes never leave your tenant.
